In an effort to get us upright and moving more, we are introducing
If you love Pilates and Dance or are new to either, this is a great class for you!
Classes will be a new dance technique each week combined with Pilates core focus. This is a great place to sample different class styles and see which is best for you.
Week 1-Ballet Style- This will be a ballet technique using Pilates props to help us engage our muscles properly
Week 2-Modern/Jazz Style
Week 3- Grounded Mat Flow-This class will include more developmental and primal ground work. The fun movement transitions will challenge your strength and flexibility as you move in and out of Pilates exercises.
Week 4-Pilates Mat Reset
Week 5 (when there is one) -Special Topics-this class will cover special topics such as shoulder and/or hip stability, the 3 curves of the spine and how they affect each each other, how to improve gait and squatting
Classes are 45 minutes and take place at SW Movement Studio, Indianapolis, IN. Please email for exact location.
Wear comfortable clothes you can move and sweat in. You might want socks or ballet/jazz shoes. A yoga mat is best so bring one if you have one.
You must pre-register. Classes are non-refundable.
